How
do California Hospital rate ?
The
California HealthCare Foundation is an independent philanthropy committed
to improving California's healthcare. The foundation conducted a voluntary
survey of over 200 California hospitals and more than 36,000 patients
to rate their experience in eight critical areas of care:
Respect for patient preferences
Coordination of care
Information and education
Physical comfort
Emotional support
Involvement of family and friends
Safe medical practices
Transition to home
This information shows how patients felt about the overall care they received
in the participating hospitals, including how well hospital staff addressed
patients' fears about treatment and how well doctors and nurses explained
what to expect after patients left the hospital. Conduct your own interactive
search for survey results online at http://www.calhospitals.org |
